How it works
The desktop app launches a dedicated Chrome window to eBay Seller Hub. Once you sign in, DroboAI automatically:
- Detects your login and extracts the session cookie
- Refreshes Seller Hub every 60 seconds to keep the session alive
- Streams live cookies and user-agent to power automations
- Notifies you if the session expires so you can re-link
How to link your eBay account
- Download and install DroboAI Desktop. Download the app and run the installer.
- Open the app and go to Session. Launch DroboAI Desktop and open the Session page from the sidebar.
- Click “Login with Browser”. A Chrome window opens to eBay Seller Hub — managed by DroboAI, separate from your normal browser.
- Sign in to your eBay seller account. Use the correct regional site (https://ebay.com) matching Country/Region in desktop Settings. Do not click Google, Facebook, or other third-party sign-in. Type your email, then sign in with a password or SMS text code (two login options — SMS is not 2FA). If you need a password, add one in eBay account settings first.
- Wait for confirmation. DroboAI detects the login within seconds and shows a linked status in the app.
- Keep the browser open while running. Minimize the Chrome window if needed — don’t close it or log out while automation runs.
Important
- Do not use third-party sign-in (Google, Facebook, Apple, etc.) — enter your email on eBay, then sign in with a password or SMS text code (login options, not 2FA)
- Do not log out of eBay in the DroboAI Chrome window while automation is running
- Do not close the Chrome window — minimize only
- Disable PC sleep mode while DroboAI is running — Sleep = Never (the bot stops if the computer sleeps)
- Country/Region in desktop Settings must match the eBay site you signed into
- If the session expires, click “Login with Browser” again to re-link
Multiple eBay accounts
Sign out in the DroboAI Chrome window, sign into another account, and save each session with a unique label (e.g. “US Store”, “UK Store”). Select the session when starting automation.
