Desktop sign-in or plan access not working
Symptoms: The desktop app opens but blocks Upload, Orders, or Listings, or says your plan does not include desktop access.
Fix:
- Sign in on this website with the same account you use in DroboAI Desktop
- Confirm your plan is Auto-Pilot or Enterprise on Pricing
- Restart DroboAI Desktop and sign in again from the browser prompt
- If the app still shows the wrong plan, log out of the desktop app and link the account again
eBay session not working
Symptoms: Discover & Post fails, Orders will not refresh, Listings cannot revise, or the app says “session expired”.
Cause: The managed Chrome session is not signed in to eBay, or the saved nonsession cookie is no longer valid.
Fix:
- Open DroboAI Desktop → Session
- Click Login with Browser (eBay linking guide)
- Sign in to eBay in the DroboAI Chrome window and wait for Seller Hub to load
- Keep the browser open or minimized while Upload, Orders, or Listings are running
Google, Facebook, Apple, and other third-party login buttons do not work in the DroboAI desktop browser. On the eBay sign-in page, type your email into the email field, then choose one of these login options:
- Password — sign in with email + password (add a password in eBay account settings on ebay.com if you don’t have one yet), or
- SMS — sign in with a text code sent to your phone
SMS here is a normal login method (same as password) — it is not “2FA.”
Bot stops overnight or when the PC is idle
Symptoms: Discover & Post, Listings sync, or Orders looked fine, then nothing happened after you walked away — or the run never finished overnight.
Cause: DroboAI runs on your computer. When Windows or macOS enters sleep (or you close a laptop lid with sleep enabled), Chrome and the desktop app are paused, so automation stops.
Fix:
- Windows: Settings → System → Power & battery (or Power & sleep) → set “When plugged in, put my device to sleep” to Never. Screen off can stay enabled.
- macOS: System Settings → Battery / Energy → turn on Prevent automatic sleeping when the display is off (power adapter), or set computer sleep to Never.
- Leave DroboAI Desktop and the managed Chrome window open or minimized (do not Quit).
- Plug the laptop in if possible, and avoid closing the lid unless lid-close is set not to sleep.
Disable sleep mode whenever you leave Discover & Post, Listings, or Orders running unattended.
Discover & Post fails
Common causes:
- PC went to sleep — Disable Sleep = Never while automation runs (see section above)
- eBay seller verification (new accounts) — If you are a new seller, eBay may require identity verification before listings can go live. Run Discover & Post once with the bot; when it fails, open Seller Hub → Drafts on eBay and try posting the draft manually. eBay should show an error that you need to verify your account — complete that verification on ebay.com, then retry in DroboAI Desktop.
- Missing shipping policy — Create an eBay business shipping policy (3-day handling) before publishing
- Session expired — Re-link via Session → Login with Browser
- Third-party eBay login — Do not use Google/Facebook/Apple sign-in in the desktop browser. Enter your email on eBay, then sign in with a password or SMS (login options — not 2FA)
- Country/Region mismatch — Desktop Settings must match the eBay site you signed into
- No item location — Set your postal code in desktop Settings
- Too strict filters — Min/Max price, restricted keywords, or profit rules may reject most products
- Account restricted — Check Seller Hub for warnings
Listings refresh does not update rows
Symptoms: Refresh checked finishes but prices do not change, Amazon shows unavailable, or rows disappear from the table.
Fix:
- Click Reload to make sure the table is reading your latest local
config.json - Select the rows you want, then click Refresh checked
- Check Settings → Listings sync for min profit %, retries, promoted listings, Auto-end OOS, and AI title + description
- If Amazon source pages are unavailable, lower speed and retry fewer rows at a time
Orders do not match Amazon source
Symptoms: Orders load, but Open Amazon does not appear or opens the wrong product.
Fix:
- Make sure the listing was created by DroboAI Desktop so the Amazon source URL was saved locally
- Open Listings and click Reload to confirm the item exists in your local catalog
- If the item was created manually on eBay, search Amazon manually and fulfill carefully
- Always verify exact product, variant, delivery speed, and stock before purchasing
eBay account restricted or warned
Cause: Listing too many items too fast on a new account, poor fulfillment, or account policy issues.
Prevention:
- Follow the 7-day warm-up plan
- Increase listings gradually
- Keep cancellation and late shipping rates low
- Respond to customer messages within 24 hours
- Disable PC sleep mode while DroboAI is running (Sleep = Never)
- Keep the DroboAI Chrome window open or minimized while desktop workflows run
- Never log out of eBay inside the managed browser unless you are intentionally resetting Session
- Use lower Speed values while testing or troubleshooting
- Watch the Upload, Session, Orders, and Listings logs for the exact failure message
